Math and Statistics Tutoring
Welcome! My name is Dr. Kempton Smith. I'm the "Wake Forest Math Tutor." I offer personalized, private math and statistics tutoring in the Wake Forest and North Raleigh areas of North Carolina.
Subjects that I tutor include basic math, pre-algebra, algebra 1 and 2, geometry, advanced functions and modeling, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, statistics, biostatistics, and math SAT preparation.
I offer personalized, private tutoring for middle school, high school, and college students, as well as for working adults. My specialty is helping students who are struggling with math and want to improve their grades and test scores in math.
I also offer customized math review sessions for students preparing to take the math sections of standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, or GED.
I tutor in the Wake Forest and North Raleigh areas of North Carolina. I can tutor either at your home or at a public library.

About Dr. Kempton Smith
I'm a retired math teacher with B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mathematical sciences. I taught statistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I also taught middle school math and am a substitute high school math teacher. I'm an experienced math tutor and enjoy working with students of all ages. I know mathematics and can teach it so that you can understand it.
I also worked for many years in the biopharmaceutical industry as a biostatistician.
